Description

The Drupal Community is one of the best benefits of the Drupal project. In Panel Discussion format, we will look at what makes Drupal so successful... the people!

Some possible topics or questions to discuss are the following:

  • How did you get into Drupal and the Drupal Community? How long have you been involved with Drupal?
  • Who makes up the Drupal Community?
  • We are doing a Community Building (through websites) track, and the Drupal Community is a highly successful online community. What specific features/aspects of these websites like Drupal.org, Groups.Drupal.org, and Drupal Dojo have allowed and created such an amazing community and technology?
  • What resources do you find helpful?
  • What are some of the non-technical things that you have learned or taken away from the Drupal Community?
  • What are some of the ways that you have given back to the Drupal Community?
  • We all have our strength and weaknesses. What different things can we do for the Drupal Community?
  • What are some ways that the Drupal Community can improve?
  • How does the idea of Open Source fit in to all of this? Are you involved with other open source communities? How does Drupal compare?
